The Orsha military‑patriotic club “Zubr” turned one year old

At secondary school No. 9 in Orsha, a solemn event was held dedicated to the anniversary of the military-patriotic club "Zubr". It turned one year old. The students of the military-patriotic club "Zubr" actively engage in research activities, learn about the feats of police officers who died in the line of duty, visit museums and historical sites, and participate in the improvement of military memorials. The schoolchildren took part in an interdepartmental scientific and practical conference on the topic "Organization of military-patriotic education for children and youth". Together with police officers, they visit the Baran' organization "Belarusian Association for Assistance to Disabled Children and Young Disabled People". The list of activities does not end there.

It tests courage and endurance. And today we can confidently say that you have passed this exam successfully. Continue to bear the proud title of a student of the military-patriotic club "Zubr". You are our hope and support, – emphasized Anastasia Adamovna.

A very useful gift was a pleasant surprise for the students. Alexander Kurhan presented the club members with a pneumatic rifle to loud applause. A gift certificate was also handed over to the school director Valentina Polyakova from the Orsha District Internal Affairs Directorate.

The school administration also prepared gifts for the guests. A warm memory of the meeting will now be the handmade gingerbread cookies featuring the club's logo.

During the meeting, the participants honored the memory of the former head of the Orsha District Internal Affairs Directorate Barvyankov Sergey Konstantinovich, who was instrumental in the establishment of the military-patriotic club "Zubr".

The most solemn moment of the event was the ceremony of welcoming new members into the club. By tradition, they took an oath, and Andrey Kosenko presented the membership certificates of the military-patriotic club "Zubr".

Students and teachers of the school, as well as artists from the city Palace of Culture "Orsha", presented their creative performances for those present at the event.
