Orsha Bread Factory – 90 years
The Orsha Bread Factory was put into operation in 1935. At that time, three baking ovens with a capacity of 38 tons per day were in operation.
Since the 1960s, the enterprise has been continuously built and developed. Today, the branch "Orsha Bread Factory" is a modern production facility where more than 400 people work. Daily, about 50 types of bakery products and more than 60 confectionery items are produced here. Biscuit and layered cakes, flour sweets, muffins, rolls, biscuits, gingerbreads, cookies – all of this is produced by Orsha bakers.
The heart of the factory is the bakery production section, which produces up to 30 tons of products per day. The workshop is equipped with modern ovens for the production of shaped, loaf rye-wheat breads, loaves, and small items, and there is also a section for slicing and packaging products. The factory's signature breads include: "Boyarin Orsha", "Exclusive", "Dobrynya", "Sunny Treat", and "Desired Crust with Flax and Wheat Grains".
Confectionery products are produced in two sections. In 2024, a line for muffin production was installed. The range of confectionery treats is constantly expanding and updating.
The Orsha Bread Factory sells its products to customers in Orsha and the Orsha district, as well as in the Vitebsk and Minsk regions. The enterprise has its own branded retail network. Two stores and nine trade kiosks operate.
The Orsha Bread Factory is a regular participant in international and republican quality reviews of bakery and confectionery products, professional skill competitions, where it has repeatedly won Grand Prix and medals.
