Orshansky VPK “Vityaz” marked its 3-year anniversary | photo
At the base of secondary school No. 20 named after I. A. Flerov, a solemn event was held dedicated to the 3rd anniversary of the military-patriotic club "Vityaz".
Honorable guests came to congratulate all club members and its leaders. Among them were the deputy chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Anastasia Prokofyeva, the head of the ideological work department of the main command of internal troops Dmitry Kharkovsky, the head of the education department of the Orsha District Executive Committee Tatyana Yankovskaya, the deputy commander of military unit 5524 Roman Poleshchuk, the military commissioner of the Orsha and Dubrovno districts Alexander Marchenko, the commander of the first separate rifle battalion of military unit 5524 Artyom Masalovich, the head of the correctional institution IK No. 12 Alexey Poltavtsev, the director of the center for metrology and standardization Dmitry Kukharenko, and the archpriest of the central deanery of the city of Orsha Dmitry Savushkin. Also present were participants from military-patriotic clubs in the Orsha district.
Words of gratitude were expressed from the stage not only to the boys, who through their hard work proved that they are worthy successors and continuators of military traditions, heirs of the heroic past of the defenders of the Fatherland, but also to their leaders, as well as to the servicemen who make every effort to prepare the boys.
For various achievements, members of the VPK "Vityaz", as well as servicemen of military unit 5524 were awarded certificates from the commander of the Internal Troops, badges of "Excellence of the Military-Patriotic Club", and certificates from the commander of military unit 5524. Parents who raised their children to be decisive, active, and exemplary for their peers were also recognized with letters of gratitude.
A bright moment of the solemn event was a demonstration performance by the students of the military-patriotic club. They showcased skills in handling firearms and cold weapons, as well as self-defense techniques.
After the solemn part of the event, the exemplary art studio "Inspiration" and the dance group "Praleska" performed a concert program for the boys and guests.
