If a public holiday or a declared non‑working day falls on a personal reception day, the reception day is moved to the next working day.
In case of absence due to official necessity on weekdays of officials conducting the reception according to this schedule, the reception of citizens, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities is carried out by the responsible duty officer of OVDT.
When making an oral request, the applicant must present an identity document.

A conscious step to a noble cause
The Orsha Department of Internal Affairs on transport invites candidates to apply to the educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus: the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the Mogilev Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the College of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
Everyone who chooses service in the internal affairs bodies makes a conscious step to a noble cause of protecting the lives and health of citizens, the interests of society and the state from criminal and other unlawful encroachments.
There are age restrictions: in the year of admission the candidate must be at least 17 years old and not more than 25. Those wishing to obtain a police profession must apply to the territorial internal affairs body by April 15. Citizens with general secondary, professional‑technical or secondary special education may enroll in the full‑time form of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. For the College of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – those with general secondary or professional‑technical education.
The duration of study in universities for full‑time is 4 years, part‑time – 5 years. The duration of study in the College of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – 1 year 10 months. Candidates are accompanied up to admission, helped to gather the necessary documents.
After graduation, graduates of police universities receive a diploma in higher legal education with the qualification “lawyer” or “lawyer with knowledge of economics”, and by order of the Minister of Internal Affairs they are awarded the special rank “police lieutenant”. Graduates of the College of the Ministry of Internal Affairs receive a secondary special education with the qualification “lawyer” and are awarded the special rank “police lieutenant”.
