Orsha municipal workers are clearing the first snow

Yesterday, as soon as the heavy snowfall began, the snow clearing equipment of the Orsha special auto base and DRSU-181 went out onto the roads.

From 8:00 PM, four MAZ trucks equipped with blades, three tractors equipped with blades and brushes, a loader, and three sand spreaders were working in the city. The workers for comprehensive cleaning began clearing sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, bus stops, and staircases from 5:00 AM. The central part of the city with heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic is cleared first. Then, the municipal workers will begin clearing snow on other streets.

– The enterprise has switched to a round-the-clock work schedule, – noted the deputy director of the Orsha special auto base Vyacheslav Shekunov.

In the area, the local road network is being cleared of snow by the workers of DRSU-181. During heavy snowfalls, 22 units of equipment are usually involved in snow removal daily. Road workers participate in clearing bus stops on rural roads.
