Orshanka became the silver prize-winner of the Republican competition “ProfskillsBelarus-2025”
In Minsk, the VI Republican competition of professional skills ProfSkillsBelarus-2025 took place. This year, the championship gained international status, gathering participants from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, China, and Zimbabwe. This emphasizes the desire for experience exchange and best practices in the field of vocational education among countries. About 400 competitors competed over three days in 50 competencies (professions), covering a wide range of industries. In the competency of "Preschool Education," the final was represented by Dar'ya Praval'skaya, a student of the Orsha College of VGU named after P. M. Masherov.
The girl successfully passed all qualifying tests. For example, at the regional stage of the competition at the Polotsk College of VGU named after P. M. Masherov, the experts unanimously awarded Dar'ya the victory. The future educator's mentor is the teacher Ludmila Manulenko. On the path to success, invaluable help and support were provided by teachers Ludmila Zhuravlyova, Tatyana Pul'yanova and Natalya Shabadrova.
On the first day of the final competition, Dar'ya Praval'skaya presented a presentation of a methodological technique using an interactive poster "Checked. Works!". This was a homework assignment. On the second day, the finalists developed and conducted a lesson on cognitive development with older preschool children using multimedia content and including a tabletop printed didactic game. The final task of the third day was to develop and conduct a final event – joint activities of the educator with children and parents in the form of a theatrical game.
As a result of all the tests, Dar'ya scored a total of 82 points, which allowed her to become a silver medalist of the Republican competition of professional skills "ProfskillsBelarus-2025".
–Dasha possesses all the necessary qualities for a successful career in preschool education. Participation in such a large-scale competition has become an important stage on her path to professional development, and we eagerly await further successes in this important and responsible field,– said teacher Ludmila Manulenko.
The girl does not intend to stop at the achieved goal. Very soon, Dar'ya will join the team of educators at kindergarten No. 27 in Orsha, where she will continue to improve her professional qualities. The girl also plans to continue her studies at Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov.
