Orshanka became a prize-winner of the regional stage of the republican competition “Leader of the Year”
In Vitebsk, the regional stage of the republican contest "Leader of the Year" took place at the regional palace of children and youth.
It was attended by high school students – leaders of children's and youth public associations, student self-government bodies from 15 regions of the Vitebsk region, who became winners of the district stages of the contest. The Orsha district was represented in the contest by a student of Gymnasium No. 1 named after G. V. Semyonov Sofya Doroshkova.
Participants had to present themselves in two stages: a business card contest and a presentation of an implemented project, in which they took direct part.
Based on the results of the two contests, leaders were chosen. A diploma of the I degree was awarded to a student of secondary school No. 1 in Dokshitsy, Renata Kolyago. Orsha resident Sofya Doroshkova took an honorable II place. It is also worth noting that her project "Guide to Creating Media in Educational Institutions" was recognized as the best, for which Sofya received a special prize from the editorial office of the newspaper "Vitebsk News". The III place was shared by a student of secondary school No. 4 in Postavy named after V. F. Frontov Zakhar Kanazh and a student of Zaslonovskaya secondary school in Lepel district Yegor Kozlovsky.
– It was a great honor for me to represent my gymnasium and the Orsha district as a whole at the regional level, – shared her impressions Sofya Doroshkova. – The preparation for the contest was lengthy but exciting. In the business card contest, I not only talked about my achievements but also showed what a true leader should be: confident, decisive, communicative, energetic. But my main goal was to present my project "Guide to the Development of Media in Educational Institutions" to the entire Vitebsk region. I think I succeeded in that.
