Oshranets Oleg Lyubimov has devoted more than 33 years of work to the “Red Bort”
Just a week has passed since the leading design engineer of the chief designer's department of OJSC Orsha Machine-Building Plant "Red Fighter" Oleg Lyubimov became the holder of the honorary title "Person of the Year of Vitebsk Region".
To this day, Oleg Viktorovich is still impressed by this event, especially the moment when the chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Rogozhnik presented him with the award.
– For me, it was all like a dream, a very exciting moment to stand on stage and receive a high award, – shared his impressions the laureate. – I am not used to such attention. I believe that this is the merit of our entire factory team, and personally for me, the title "Person of the Year of Vitebsk Region" is a further incentive for development and improvement.
Oleg Lyubimov has dedicated 33 years of his working life to "Red Fighter". This is his whole life. He came here after graduating from the Belarusian State Polytechnic Academy and has remained at the plant ever since. He has gone from a master to a leading design engineer.
Oleg Viktorovich participated in the development of technical and working projects for complex grinding equipment and is directly involved in the debugging and testing of many special grinding machines.
He considers his profession creative, as the process of creating a machine requires non-standard thinking, thoughtfulness, and meticulousness. Each moment needs to be replayed in the mind more than once, thought through to the details. However, Oleg Lyubimov can handle any assigned task. He always performs it diligently, promptly, and with high quality, and in difficult situations, he always finds the right solution.
In recent years, in addition to producing traditional flat grinding machines, the enterprise has mastered the production of a complex of high-performance special science-intensive equipment for almost all multi-purpose grinding machines that were previously produced by 11 machine-building plants in neighboring countries. Over the past five years, 94 innovative science-intensive and high-quality special-purpose machines have been created. This includes a new unique universal import-substituting flat grinding machine with numerical control of portal design model OSH-125300, intended for high-precision grinding of flat surfaces of large-sized parts and volumetric structures. And in this, there is no small merit of the leading design engineer Oleg Lyubimov.
Oleg Viktorovich cannot always be found at the plant. He often goes on business trips, ensuring the setup and adjustment of equipment. During his time at "Red Fighter", he has visited many countries around the world. In recent years, he has become acquainted with many cities in Russia. However, he always eagerly returns home and to his native enterprise, where he is awaited.
After the award ceremony for the honorary title "Person of the Year of Vitebsk Region", Oleg Lyubimov's colleagues were waiting for him with pride and a desire to say many kind, warm words of congratulations that he rightfully deserved. Oleg Viktorovich also has other awards: honorary certificates from the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Orsha District Executive Committee. He has also been awarded a prize from the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus in the field of science and technology, and has been given the factory titles of "Best Machine Builder" and "Labor Veteran". Oleg Lyubimov's name has been inscribed on the factory's Honor Board. However, the modest and taciturn leading design engineer is shy about talking about his achievements. He is used to proving his professionalism and skill through concrete actions. And there are already quite a few of them to his credit.
