Orshanyets Maxim Sernov – the first 2000s‑born combine operator of Vitebsk region
Literally last week, the leadership of the Orsha district and trade unions congratulated the combine operator from OJSC "Agrocomplex 'Yubileyny'" Maxim Sernov on his thousandth harvest. And today, there is a new success in the grain field. He was the first in the Vitebsk region to reach the milestone of two thousand tons of grain.
Maxim is once again in the spotlight. At the field near the agrotown of Zubovo, where the grain grower worked, the chairman of the committee for agriculture and food of the Vitebsk regional executive committee Andrey Bulavkin, the head of the Orsha district Igor Moroz, the chairperson of the Orsha district organization of the Belarusian professional union of agricultural workers Olga Nikitenkova, and representatives of the management of the agrocomplex "Yubileyny" arrived.
Combines are moving across the field. At the controls of one of them is the leader of the current harvest season, Maxim Sernov. He literally stops his KZS for a few minutes to greet the guests who have come to congratulate him on his new labor victory.
– Thank you, Maxim, for your efforts, perseverance, and conscientious work, – says Andrey Bulavkin, extending his hand and presenting a diploma.
– Well done! Keep it up! The Orsha district is proud of you, – adds Igor Moroz, also presenting an award.
Maxim Stanislavovich, although he is not new to being a leader in the harvest season, still feels shy and modestly accepts congratulations, saying "Thank you!" to everyone for such attention to him.
Maxim Sernov has been working at OJSC "Agrocomplex 'Yubileyny'" for many years. This is already his tenth harvest campaign. Two years ago, he set his personal record. He harvested 4600 tons of grain. Now the grain grower intends to reach new heights.
