Arshanyets Arseniy Derevyanko — the best dispatcher of the country's EMERCOM Operational Management Center

On January 19, Belarus celebrates Rescuer's Day – a professional holiday for those whose life mission is to help others. The Orsha GROC welcomes this date with special pride. Here serves Arseniy Derevyanko, the best dispatcher of the Emergency Situations Ministry's Operational Management Center in the country according to the results of 2025. 

In the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the rescuer has been serving for the third year, with the second year in the position of dispatcher. He started his journey as a firefighter-rescuer. He served in a combat crew at a fire station, where he gained his first practical experience. After about a year, he was assigned to the Operational Management Center, where he continues to serve.

Arseniy was born in Orsha and studied at the Minsk State Linguistic University majoring in "intercultural communications, translation." After three years, his studies were interrupted due to the need to serve. The decision was a conscious one: working in the Ministry of Emergency Situations had been his long-time dream.

That is why the choice was made in favor of the rescue service.

The young employee was welcomed warmly by the team. Despite the differences between civilian life and service, the adaptation period was successful. As Arseniy himself notes, he had to restructure his usual approaches to work and communication, but the support of colleagues and the positive atmosphere helped him quickly integrate into the team.

His parents and younger sister respected his choice of profession. The family has always supported his decisions, although at the beginning of his service, during deployments, his mother was particularly worried.

In 2025, the professionalism of the dispatcher was recognized at the highest level. Arseniy Derevyanko participated for the first time in the annual republican competition "Best Employee of the Operational Management Center" and confidently passed all stages: from district to republican, taking first place. The competition tasks were characterized by high intensity and variety: listening comprehension in Russian and English, solving complex introductory tasks in conditions close to real ones, working with a radio station, receiving calls, consulting citizens, testing knowledge of regulatory documents, as well as compiling electronic schemes of emergency situations. All of this required maximum concentration, literacy, and quick decision-making skills.

Today, Arseniy Derevyanko looks to the future with confidence. He plans to further develop professionally within the Ministry of Emergency Situations: to obtain an officer's rank and work in the field of psychological assistance.

His story is an example of how a sincere desire to help people, along with persistence and hard work, leads to recognition and success. Such employees are a true pride of the service and a reliable support for everyone in need of help.
