An original gift for the wonderful half of humanity became a festive concert dedicated to Women’s Day

An original gift for the wonderful half of humanity was a festive concert dedicated to International Women's Day, which took place at the regional philharmonic in the format of the television program "Evening Vitebsk." 

For the meeting with mothers of many children, the "main responsible" for women in the Pridvin region were invited – the chairman of the regional executive committee Alexander Subbotin and the chairman of the Vitebsk city executive committee Alexey Geroev. 

The quintessence of the celebration was the presentation of a state award – the Order of Mother to women for giving birth to and raising five or more children.

They were honored: the saleswoman of the "Marko" store LLC "Marko-service" from Glubokoe Yulia Gulyashko, housewives Natalia Litvinova from Novopolotsk,  Yulia Lyutik and Olga Savitskaya from Vitebsk, cashier-controller of the "Euroopt" store branch of LLC "Euratorg" in Vitebsk Veronika Malakhevich, an employee of the branch of "Tolchin Road Repair and Construction Management No. 147 of the State Unitary Enterprise "VitebskoblDorStroy" Alla Poznyak, an operator of electronic computing machines of LLC "Clean Springs" from Orsha Kristina Romanovskaya, a milking machine operator at MTF "Devino" of the "Greenhouse" branch of RUP "Vitebskenergo" Olga Solovyova and the director of the Vitebsk CTUP "ShiKom-plus" Lyudmila Shotova.

On the eve of the holiday, men wished women that every home would have warmth, comfort, prosperity, and peace, that their loved ones would be healthy, and that everything would develop in a positive direction.

In healthcare, education, culture, the agro-industrial complex, light industry, trade, and the financial and banking sector of Vitebsk region, the majority are representatives of the beautiful half. An active civic position, a high educational and professional level, initiative, and a responsible attitude to work have become integral traits of our contemporaries.

Flowers, words of gratitude for the maternal feat, performances by choreographic groups and soloists were addressed to these wonderful women. Together with the heroines of the celebration, bright and exciting moments of the holiday were shared by their family members present in the hall and many other deserving women of Vitebsk region.
