The Orekhovsky flax mill celebrated its 55th anniversary
In these December days, the open joint-stock company "Orekhovsky Linen Factory" celebrated its anniversary, the history of which began in 1970.
The solemn event on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the enterprise took place in the House of Culture of the urban settlement Orekhovsk, where honored guests, workers and veterans of the factory, and residents of the settlement gathered.
— Orekhovsky Linen Factory is not just an enterprise located in the territory of the Orsha district. It is, first of all, one of the largest linen factories in our republic, which supplies us with the most important product produced in Belarus: our northern silk – flax, — noted in his congratulations the deputy general director for ideological work and social issues of the Orsha Linen Mill Sergey Sidin. – Without this enterprise, we would not be able to work successfully now and fulfill the tasks set before us.
By its 55th anniversary, the enterprise has been renewed. Currently, three production lines for fiber processing are in operation, and sections for rope production have been established. Today, this is a high-tech production that allows the Orsha Linen Mill to be supplied with quality raw materials.
This year, almost a two-year volume of reed processing has been harvested, which provides a reliable basis for the factory to operate smoothly throughout the year and produce good fiber for the production of Belarusian fabrics, which are awaited, loved, and known in 43 countries around the world.
What is a birthday without gifts? A symbolic festive cake decorated with flax, the numbers "55" and candles became a surprise for all the workers of the enterprise.
To make a cherished wish and blow out the candles on the anniversary cake, the director of the Orekhovsky Linen Factory Oleg Vishnevsky was invited, who addressed those present:
— Dear colleagues, today we celebrate an anniversary date – 55 years of our enterprise. Over these years, a long way has been traveled. There have been various situations during the harvesting campaign. This year has been challenging for the enterprise in terms of weather conditions, but we worked hard to complete it, and the difficulties have further united our team. I am grateful to each of you for not staying aside and helping to finish this season with all your might. I wish everyone good health, well-being, family happiness, good luck, and good weather in our hard work. Happy holiday!
That evening, many warm words were spoken to the workers of the enterprise from both the deputy director for crop production Alexander Berestovsky and the deputy director for production Svetlana Khabraya.
