Pre-election programmes of the candidates for President of Belarus have been published
Today, the election programs of all five candidates for the President of the Republic of Belarus have been published, reports BELTA.
In the newspaper "Zvyazda," the election programs are published in Belarusian, while in the newspaper "Respublika" — in Russian.
According to the regulation on the use of mass media in the preparation and conduct of the presidential elections in the Republic of Belarus, approved by the CEC, each presidential candidate has the right to free appearances on radio, television, and to publish their election program in the newspaper.
The presidential elections in Belarus are scheduled for January 26, 2025. The CEC has registered five candidates for the President of the Republic of Belarus: the current President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko, the chairman of the Republican Party of Labor and Justice Aleksandr Khizhnyak, the chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus Oleg Haydukevich, individual entrepreneur Anna Kanopatskaya, and the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus Sergey Syryankov.
