Fire does not sleep!

Every year, fire takes lives, destroys property accumulated over the years, and leaves families homeless. Fire statistics are not just numbers; they are tragic stories of real people. To date, there have been 3360 fires in the Republic of Belarus, 44 of which occurred in the Orsha district.

The main causes of fires remain unchanged: careless handling of fire, violation of electrical equipment and heating rules, and children's mischief. Most of these tragedies could have been prevented by following basic fire safety rules.

Dear citizens, remember! Overloaded sockets. Old wiring, unattended electrical appliances left on, the use of homemade or faulty electrical devices – these are common culprits of fires. An unextinguished cigarette, matches in the hands of children, lighting bonfires near buildings or in windy weather, carelessness when using open flames – this is a direct path to a fire.

Preventing a fire is easier than extinguishing it! Be vigilant, follow fire safety rules at home, and teach them to your children and elderly relatives.

In case of fire or other emergencies, call 101 or 112 immediately. Take care of yourself and your loved ones.
