«Discuss the development of exports and establish connections»: Vitebsk became a venue for holding a logistics forum
The forum "Product + destination = export" gathered representatives from across the country in Vitebsk. The main focus was on the development of export direction and the strategic importance of logistics in the current conditions of the global market.
– The main task of the forum is to discuss the development of our export and all its components: correct routes, calculations, and of course, logistics. We have more than 20 logistics specialists in various fields. Today, it is important for us to establish connections between enterprises to further develop this direction, – explained Vitaly Vabishchev, Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The choice of Vitebsk as the venue is not accidental: it is part of the Chamber's strategy to develop republican forums not only in the capital but also in the regions.
– It is important for us to convey as much information as possible. We live in difficult times, and goods need to be transported under any conditions. The goal of the forum is to establish as many contacts as possible. For this purpose, we have created special breaks between the speakers' presentations. In addition to Belarusian colleagues, there are guests from the Russian Federation, in particular, representatives of the ports of Astrakhan, – noted Kirill Nesterovich, director of the logistics company Frtight.by.
More than 20 speakers from all regions of Belarus, as well as from Moscow, Astrakhan, and St. Petersburg discussed the trends in the development of global transport corridors for 2025-2026, the efficiency of multimodal transport, the features and risks of maritime, railway, and road lines, and much more.
