Regional Trade Union Forum "In Unity – The Future!"

At the memorial "Kurgan of Immortality" in Orsha, a solemn rally took place.
It was dedicated to two significant events: the regional trade union forum "In Unity – the Future!" and the international project "Memory and Glory to Artillerymen".

The key theme of the event was the enduring value of the unity of the people — both in wartime and in the modern world. As was rightly noted: "It has been bequeathed to us by our fathers and grandfathers to preserve peace on Belarusian soil, to pass on to future generations the true history, and to maintain the understanding that unity, faith in oneself, and true love for the Motherland are a reliable defense against any threat."

The rally was attended by honored guests:
Inna Viktorovna Khomutovskaya – Chairperson of the Orsha District Council of Deputies.

Anastasia Adamovna Prokofyeva – Deputy Chairperson of the Orsha District Executive Committee.

Maria Gennadyevna Shmatova - Head of the Ideological Work and Youth Affairs Department of the Orsha District Executive Committee.

Sergey Vladimirovich Potapenko – Chairperson of the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of State and Other Institutions.

Elena Vasilievna Nefyodova – Chairperson of the Vitebsk Regional Trade Union Association, Deputy of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies.

Vitaly Vyacheslavovich Prokopychik – Deputy Commander for Ideological Work of the 51st Guards Orsha Red Banner Order of Alexander Nevsky Artillery Brigade.

The event concluded with a minute of silence in memory of the fallen heroes and a ceremony of laying flowers and wreaths at the foot of the Kurgan.

The forum participants also visited the V.A. Gromyko Art Gallery, and then the trade union forum continued with an open dialogue "In Unity - the Future" and a quiz "We are Together - We are United".

The forum organizers also planned a trip to the village of Alexandria, where a walking tour of the agrotown and a visit to the Alexandria School will take place. The trip to the small homeland of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko in the town of Kopyl. There will be a master class in the pottery workshops of the center for folk art and crafts.
