About the activities of developer organizations, garage cooperatives and cooperatives that operate car parking lots

Orsha District Executive Committee (hereinafter – Orsha District Executive Committee) informs that in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated December 5, 2024 No. 44-Z "On Amending the Laws on State Registration of Immovable Property, Rights to It and Transactions with It" rights to all immovable property on the territory of the Republic of Belarus are subject to state registration in the organization for state registration. 

Based on the Regulation on the Creation and Activities of Garage Cooperatives and Cooperatives Engaged in the Operation of Parking Lots, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated January 28, 2008 No. 43 "On the Activities of Developer Organizations, Garage Cooperatives and Cooperatives Engaged in the Operation of Parking Lots", citizens who have capital structures (garages) on the territory of garage arrays must create a voluntary association of citizens or citizens and legal entities, individual entrepreneurs – a garage cooperative.  

Currently, there are garage arrays located in the city of Orsha: in the area of Novatorov St., near house 9; in the area of Novatorov St., near house 12; in the area of May 1st St. (near PU "Orshagaz"); in the area of Vissarion Belinsky St. (near OAO "Orshastroymaterials"); in the area of Textile Workers Ave., near house 28; in the area of Textile Workers Ave., near house 8 (near "Kindergarten No. 20 of Orsha"), in the area of Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya St., near house 2 (near "Kindergarten No. 18 of Orsha"); in the area of Mikhail Kalinin St., near house 34; in the area of Locomotive St. (near Orsha Car Depot of the Minsk Branch of the Belarusian Railway); in the area of Southern St. (near Orsha CHPP, a branch of RUP "Vitebskenergo"); in the area of Dominican St., near house 28A; Matrosova St., near house 40; in the area of Shklovskaya 2nd St. (near "Orsha State College of Food named after N.A.Kornachyonka"), in the area of Shklovskaya 2nd St. (near "Temple of St. Michael the Archangel").

Immovable property (garages) without title documents are equated to unauthorized constructions.

If measures for the registration of immovable property are not taken by 01.05.2026 the Orsha District Executive Committee will take measures for the demolition of capital structures (garages) and further bringing the land plot into compliance with its intended use.
