The cooperation agreement for 2025 – 2028 was signed by the Vitebsk regional organization of the Belarusian trade union of healthcare workers and the main health department of the regional executive committee. The document includes commitments related to all areas of joint work. The agreement was sealed with the signatures of the chairman of the regional organization of the BPRZ, Vladimir Plytkevich, and the head of the main health department of the regional executive committee, Mikhail Vishnevetsky.
– One of the most significant achievements, and this initiative is supported by the regional health department, is that under the contract, everyone working in the healthcare sector receives a minimum bonus of 30%, – noted Vladimir Plytkevich. – Support also extends to youth, children's health improvement, and education. A whole range of provisions is related to the extension of contracts. For example, if a person has three years left until retirement, their contract is extended for at least three years; if a working pensioner has a minor child receiving higher or secondary education, their contract is not terminated. Among the innovations is that notification of reorganizations occurs three months in advance. The agreement will be in effect for three years, and each new such document is better than the previous one.
Among the key points is the creation of optimal conditions for the stable operation of labor collectives, the development of human resources potential, and the preservation and increase of wage levels for workers, taking into account the existing remuneration system in the industry.
– The next agreement, which was signed today with the regional trade union committee of healthcare workers, is primarily aimed at defending the rights of our workers, not only medical workers but all those engaged in the healthcare sector, – emphasized Mikhail Vishnevetsky. – While adhering to the existing parameters of the agreement, we are outlining new ones. They concern the protection of interests and the entry into the profession of young specialists, mentorship as an important support factor in the early stages. Measures are also provided to enhance the effectiveness of social support for young specialists. The industry must operate clearly, rhythmically, and evenly. For this, it is necessary that the people engaged in it are not only provided with work but also appreciate the conditions created for them.
