At the meeting of the Vitebsk regional executive committee, the socio-economic development of Vitebsk, Novopolotsk, Polotsk and Orsha districts is being discussed.
The socio-economic development of regions with a population of more than 80 thousand people and the regional center is being discussed at the open meeting of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
– These are very important areas that shape the indicators of socio-economic development of our region, – noted the chairman of the executive committee, Alexander Subbotin, at the opening of the meeting. – Therefore, today, having statistical data over a certain period, as well as an assessment from the Ministry of Economy, we are separately analyzing both the positive and negative aspects related to the implementation of tasks for the accelerated socio-economic development of these regions.
Participants of the meeting, which is being held in video conference mode, are listening to reports from the chairmen of the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee Igor Burmistrov, the Orsha District Executive Committee Igor Moroz, the Polotsk District Executive Committee Vasily Shilov, and heads of administrations of the regional center.
