At the district council session, the results of the region's work for 2025 were presented.
At the last session of the Orsha District Council of Deputies in the outgoing year, chaired by Inna Khomutovskaya, the results of the socio-economic development of the region for 2025 were summarized, and prospective tasks for the next year were outlined.
The chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Igor Moroz presented a detailed report to the deputies and the regional community. He talked about how the main sectors performed, what successes were achieved, but especially focused on what needs to be done starting tomorrow.
– There are still many issues that require resolution, – emphasized Igor Alexandrovich. – The key tasks for us in 2026 will be: ensuring the growth of labor productivity and export potential of industrial enterprises, further increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of agricultural production, enhancing the investment attractiveness of the district, improving the quality of services in the housing and communal services sector, and systematic work on landscaping, further development of social infrastructure, especially in rural areas, and strengthening the human resource potential.
The head of the district expressed confidence that the unification of efforts from the authorities, businesses, and the public will allow the district to successfully address the tasks set, improve the quality of life of citizens, and make a worthy contribution to the development of the Vitebsk region and the Republic of Belarus.
At the 29th session, the deputies also approved the district budget and confirmed the investment program for the next year.
