During the district Saturday workday in Orsha, the improvement of the Trudovoy Slavy Square continued.

More than 50 people from the Orsha special vehicle base, Orshakomhoz, construction trust No. 18, the factories "Legmash" and "Red Fighter", the tool factory, and the contracting organization "DLS" worked on the improvement of the future Labor Glory square, which is located at the intersection of Sergei Grytsevets and Konstantin Zaslonov streets.

Participants of the Saturday cleanup were facing the parapets with porcelain stoneware, equipping pedestrian paths, performing lawn installation, and cleaning up construction debris.

The stele itself is also taking on a finished look. Workers from construction trust No. 18 were laying steps at the base of the stele and installing a foundation for mounting panels for the bas-relief. Meanwhile, workers from the lighting network section of the municipal unitary enterprise "Orshakomhoz" were connecting the lights for the future square.

Work is ongoing. On Sunday, the deputy corps, led by the deputy chairman of the district executive committee Sergei Shurov continued laying tiles and constructing retaining walls, preparing the foundation for the bas-relief.
