Control over economic entities engaged in the sale of imported goods, so-called "low price segment", is one of the priority areas in the activities of tax authorities. Violations of the established procedure for accepting cash, selling goods without documents and identification means – this is an incomplete list of violations identified during operational activities.

Thus, since the beginning of the year, operational units of the tax inspections of the Vitebsk region have identified more than 2.0 million rubles of hidden revenue from taxation for this category of payers, and economic entities and their sellers have been brought to administrative responsibility for an amount of about 250.0 thousand rubles, including about 240.0 thousand rubles for violating the established legal procedure for labeling goods with identification means. In addition, from the amounts of hidden revenue, violators had to pay the taxes due to the budget.

The tax inspection of the Vitebsk region reminds economic entities of the need for strict compliance with legislation in their activities and urges buyers to demand a receipt with every purchase – this will not only help collect the necessary taxes for the state budget but will also serve as a guarantee in case the purchased product turns out to be of poor quality.
