"Мы никого бросать не собираемся". Лукашенко хочет посетить "АМКОДОР"

"We are not going to abandon anyone". Lukashenko wants to visit "AMKODOR"

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, on June 30, while making personnel decisions, spoke about plans to visit the "AMKODOR" enterprise, reports a BELTA correspondent.

The head of state agreed to appoint the current Minister of Industry, Alexander Efimov, to lead "AMKODOR". Moreover, he has already worked at this enterprise, which means he is well acquainted with the specifics of the holding and the team.

Lukashenko appointed a new Minister of Industry

"There are thousands of people there, and they are waiting for an answer: will the state abandon us or not. You tell them directly on my behalf (I will still be with you for a while): we do not intend to abandon anyone, our people work there. And the fact that this enterprise could not function properly in a private, so to speak, manner also speaks volumes. Therefore, act, - said Alexander Lukashenko. - Get the enterprise out of its current situation into a normal one - good. But convey to the team that hoping once again that we will pour some millions of rubles or dollars there - that will not happen. First of all, you will have to get out of this situation using your own resources and reserves."
The President noted that the products of "AMKODOR" are in demand in every corner of the world. The machinery produced at the enterprise is used for a variety of tasks.

What key problem will the former head of the Ministry of Industry solve at "AMKODOR"

"A corresponding initiative is needed. You need to motivate the team, - emphasized the head of state. - You will have to work seriously in the markets to sell your products. Optimize production, figure it out. Not in terms of the nomenclature of the produced products, but in terms of where you need to create new productions, build something, and so on. You know what I am talking about."
