Scammers don't sleep!
Fraudsters are not sleeping! Every day they come up with new ways to deceive. Don't let yourself be led around by the nose!
How do they operate? They call "from the bank" or "from support" and ask you to dictate an SMS code for "cancelling a transaction." They write on social media, offer a profitable product at a low price, and ask for a prepayment to a card. They send a link to "claim a prize" or "check account blockage." In most cases, fraudsters call through messengers (Telegram, WhatsApp, Viber) and present themselves as a specialist from a telecom operator. They call on behalf of the telecom operator ("MTS" or "A1"). They ask for prepayment for selling goods on online marketplaces and in social media groups such as "Instagram," "VKontakte," "Telegram," "Kufar," etc. Another recently popular scheme of fraud is called "Fake boss." Fraudsters create fake accounts of managers in messengers, using their real photos and names. They write to employees on behalf of the "boss," asking to keep the conversation secret and to urgently follow instructions. To convince, they may: send a voice message created by AI, call, show a fake ID or document.
The main rule: you are the only one who protects your money and data
Safety reminder: Never share SMS codes, passwords, and card details with anyone. A real bank will never ask for them. Do not transfer prepayments to strangers on a card or e-wallet. Do not click on suspicious links from emails and messages. Do not install applications at the request of strangers (AnyDesk, RustDesk, etc.) — this is remote access to your phone! Resolve all issues only through official phone numbers from the bank's website, not from Google or SMS.
Be careful! Share this post with colleagues. Discuss these rules with your loved ones, especially with elderly people — they are the main target of fraudsters!
