Young specialists of the Orsha Instrument Plant showed how they live in the dormitory
Every year, the labor collectives of enterprises in the Orsha district are replenished with young specialists. Student life is left behind, and independent life begins.
Getting assigned to the first job is always stressful for both the specialist and their parents. There are no small details here. A new team, a new workplace, and, of course, for young people from other cities, a new place of residence. The latter greatly affects the quality of life.
A journalist from "Arshanka" spoke with young specialists who have been working at the Orsha Instrument Plant since the beginning of August. The guys happily showed us around the dormitory corridors, showed their rooms, and told us what they do in their free time.
Yevgeny Chmarkov is from Novolukoml. He studied at the Vitebsk State Technical College and is now working as a CNC machine operator under a targeted program. We met the guy in his room, and had to distract him a bit from reading. For the journalist of "Arshanka", this was a pleasant surprise. Yevgeny was reading the novel "Ivanhoe." A good choice to spend free time before work.
– Our young specialists read a lot in their free time, – proudly noted the head of the dormitory Elena Rublyova.
Yevgeny showed how he settled into the dormitory.
– We have everything necessary for living: comfortable beds, furniture, a refrigerator. The common kitchens have been renovated, electric stoves have been installed, there is a separate room with washing machines and a room for drying laundry. Living here is comfortable and inexpensive, only about 50 rubles a month, – the young man said.
We met his neighbor Yevgeny Filukhova in the kitchen. The guy was making breakfast. He came to Orsha from Shumilino. He also studied at the Vitebsk State Technical College. The guys were classmates during their student years, and now they are colleagues at work. Yevgeny Filukhova enjoys life in the dormitory, and working at the plant also brings him pleasure.
In their free time, young people walk around the city, read books, tidy up their rooms, and play sports. The dormitory has the opportunity to play table tennis. The guys also demonstrated their skills in the game.
– Currently, 40 young specialists live in our dormitory. Five years ago, we started renovating living quarters, corridors, bathrooms, and kitchens. At the moment, all necessary conditions for comfortable living have been created for the youth, – said Elena Rublyova. – Now renovation work will continue in the rooms of the family workers of the enterprise.
