«Youth Job Fair»
As part of the program of the 13th International Economic Forum and the Republican Universal Exhibition-Fair "Orsha Traditions" at the "Ice Arena" complex, the Department of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Orsha District Executive Committee organized a "Youth Job Fair".
In order to employ student youth during their free time from studies, including during the summer holidays, on April 23, 2025, 10 organizations from the Orsha district participated (OJSC "Orsha Construction Trust No. 18", UP "Orsha Poultry Farm", LLC "OMA", OJSC "Orsha Meat Processing Plant", SGK "Zadniprovsky OJSC "Orsha Grain Products Plant", UZ Orsha Central Polyclinic, branch "Greenhouse RUP "Vitebskenergo", LLC "Savushkin-Orsha", branch "Orsha Bread Factory" OJSC "Vitebskhlebprom"), with more than 260 vacancies announced.
To consult citizens on employment issues, the Orsha Interdistrict Department of the Vitebsk Regional Department of the State Labor Inspection of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus participated in the Republican Job Fair.
Also, for high school students of educational institutions in the Orsha district, a career guidance event "Step into the Future Profession" was held. The event involved secondary specialized, vocational-technical, and higher educational institutions (HEI "Orsha State College of Railway Transport of the Belarusian Railway", HEI "Orsha State Medical College", HEI "Orsha State Vocational Technical College", HEI "Orsha State Vocational Lyceum of Textile Workers named after G.V. Semyonov", HEI "Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov", HEI "Vitebsk State Medical University of Friendship of Peoples", HEI "Vitebsk State Technological University", HEI "Belarusian State Agricultural Academy of the Orders of the October Revolution and the Red Banner of Labor" and others.) Students were shown videos about the educational process, student life, and the material and technical base. Students from educational institutions conducted "master classes" on the professions of "hairdresser", "manicurist", "confectioner", which immediately focused schoolchildren on their future profession. More than 180 students attended the events.
