The large‑family couple Darya and Denis Tikhanskys from Orsha are raising three sons and a daughter
A large-scale event dedicated to Family Day is taking place in Belarus. The activities cover all regions of the country. This holiday is also celebrated in the Orsha region.
The family has been and remains a guardian of human values, culture, and historical continuity of generations, a factor of stability and development.
– Life begins with the family. Here is the source of love and respect between parents for each other and for their children. The well-being in the home depends on this. Through the family, knowledge, traditions, moral and value orientations are passed from one generation to another, – believe the large family couple Darya and Denis Tikhansky.
They are raising three sons and a daughter. They try to do everything together. Recently, at the kindergarten attended by their two-year-old Vsevolod, they received a homework assignment from the teacher – to draw pictures dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory with their son. In the evening, the room turned into an art workshop. Dad couldn't keep up with sharpening the colored pencils for the kids. It was a lot of fun. In the morning, mom brought four drawings to the kindergarten.
– And it’s always like that. We strive to create and do something together. What exactly doesn’t matter, as long as it brings joy, – Darya shares.
Currently, she is on maternity leave. Denis Tikhansky is an entrepreneur in the construction industry.
The older sons Alexey and Timofey study at secondary school No. 6 in Orsha. They help their parents in everything, including taking care of Vsevolod and Sofia. Alexey studies at the Orsha District Children's Art School in the theater department. During the celebration of May 9, he participated in a theatrical performance dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. Timofey is interested in freestyle wrestling and already has a certain arsenal of diplomas for prize places in sports competitions. Together with their mother, the boys engage in volunteer activities. For example, this year they organized a small cleanup and cleaned up a section of the Dnieper River bank near the family tree park, where they often walk with their dog.
Darya and Denis Tikhansky strive to build warm and friendly relationships in the family, respect and trust, responsibility for their actions, and the ability to forgive. They instill hard work in their children. They teach them to love nature and their homeland. Currently, the couple is preparing to participate in the opening of the motorcycle season in the Orsha region. This couple has often been seen in car rallies dedicated to the celebration of Victory Day.
– The family hearth is the energy of the husband and wife, around which the others unite: children, grandmothers, grandfathers, and other close people. Mutual respect between spouses is one of the important rules for preserving the family hearth. We understand the value of marital relationships, we cherish each other, and we know how to forgive grievances. Despite being busy with household chores and work, we find the opportunity to spend time together. We talk a lot with the children, discuss current events, and go for walks. And thus we become closer and closer, better understand each other, – this is the recipe for happiness shared by my interlocutor.
