The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus announces the start of the traditional republican children's drawing competition on an ecological theme.

 The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus announces the start of the traditional republican children's drawing competition on ecological themes. The competition aims to draw the attention of young generations to issues of nature protection and to foster a responsible attitude towards ecology among the young residents of our country.

The event takes place annually and includes three consecutive stages:

- Stage I — selection of the best works at the local level (district and city stages). Works are accepted by the inspections of natural resources and environmental protection until March 1 of the current year.

- Stage II — determination of the winners of the regional stages. The best drawings are sent to the relevant committees by April 1.

- Stage III — the final stage at the republican level, the results of which are summarized by May 1 inclusive.

Participants in the competition are children engaged in preschool and school education institutions, as well as in organizations for additional education of children and youth. Two age groups are provided for participation:

- From 3 to 5 years old.

- From 6 to 10 years old.

The goal of the event is to activate the formation of ecological culture, instill in children the values of nature conservation, and support the ideas of sustainable development of humanity until 2030 in accordance with international standards.
