Лукашенко заслушал доклады Крутого и Кочановой. В числе главного - совещание по Витебщине и мониторинг в торговле

Lukashenko heard the reports of Krutoy and Kochanova. Among the main items was a meeting on the Vitebsk region and monitoring in trade.

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, listened to reports from the head of the Presidential Administration, Dmitry Krutoy, and the chairwoman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly, Natalia Kochanova, on October 22, as reported by BELTA.

The main topic of Dmitry Krutoy's report was the preparation of a large meeting on ensuring sustainable development in the Vitebsk region, which will take place at the end of this week. The President was presented with a plan for the upcoming work, the main points of which are detailed reports from the regional leadership on key areas.

Also discussed were issues that require constant attention and control. This concerns serious decisions that were made regarding the Vitebsk region earlier. This includes the work of integration structures and the agro-industrial complex of the region as a whole, the performance of the industrial sector, and the situation at problematic enterprises, and most importantly - the development program for the region. All these areas are under special control, and on Friday, there will be a separate discussion on each of them at the meeting. This was emphasized by Alexander Lukashenko while listening to the report from the head of the Presidential Administration.

The second topic of Dmitry Krutoy's report was information work. Its regulation falls within the responsibility of the Presidential Administration. The report addressed the work of government members and senior officials in the media. This includes informing and explanatory work on key aspects within the competence of ministries and agencies, as well as responding to pressing issues concerning the population. The key instruction from the head of state is to establish an information balance.

In addition, it was reported on improving the mechanism for sending officials abroad and organizing the work process in accordance with the requirements of Directive No. 11 - conducting meetings, boards, and other events outside of working hours, without distracting officials from performing their direct professional duties.

The main topic of Natalia Kochanova's report to the head of state was monitoring the trade sector at the local level and pricing processes. By the President's instruction, this monitoring is carried out by the Council of the Republic and the House of Representatives. The leaders of the parliamentary chambers regularly report to the head of state with the current information on these topics. In particular, once a month, the House of Representatives sends a report on the results of the monitoring to the President. Attention was also focused on these issues during the report of the chairwoman of the Council of the Republic - fairness in pricing issues, organization of trade in regions and rural areas, public sentiment in general, and problematic issues concerning the population.

Additionally, Natalia Kochanova reported to the head of state a block of personnel issues that fall within the competence of the Council of the Republic.
