Lukashenko: in the next five-year plan, at least five new technoparks will appear in Minsk
In the next five years, at least five new technoparks will appear in Minsk. This was stated by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, during his visit to the Minsk City Technopark, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
The head of state is confident in the demand and effectiveness of this form of industrial development.
"It was necessary to look at my creation (the Minsk City Technopark, which was given the unused territories of the motorcycle plant. - Note from BELTA). Now we are planning - the city executive committee will create about five technoparks somewhere in the territory of Minsk. Gradually, we will create similar ones - larger, smaller - technoparks. At the 'Horizont' plant, as we used to call it, we will develop corresponding productions - high-tech. There will be less iron and more brains there," - said the President.
"There will be different technoparks. Therefore, in the next five years, five will definitely appear in Minsk," - added Alexander Lukashenko.
