Lukashenko presented state awards to women from various fields of activity and regions of the country
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, awarded state honors to 30 women from various fields of activity and regions of the country. The solemn ceremony, traditionally timed to the holiday of March 8, took place on March 10 at the Palace of Independence, reports a BELTA correspondent.
On this day, as the head of state noted, there is an amazing atmosphere of spring, beauty, and joy in the Hall of State Awards. The President explained that several date options were considered for the ceremony, but in order to extend the holiday for women, it was decided to hold it on March 10.
"You embody our country - our beloved Belarus. Beautiful, talented, smart, striving for a bright future, where normal, traditional relationships, especially family ones, are unshakeable. And children are sacred to us," said Alexander Lukashenko.
The overwhelming majority of the women present at the ceremony were awarded the main honor - the Order of Mother. "You gave life and raised five or more children with dignity. I bow to you because I know what it means to raise a child. It is a true daily feat," emphasized the President. "Sleepless nights, endless worries about and without reason. Immense pride when sons take the military oath. And boundless joy when you see your daughters in wedding dresses. And then grandchildren come into your life, and it turns out that a mother's heart has not exhausted itself, but has simply entered a new, endless circle of love, care, and tenderness. And for this, we men are primarily grateful to you."
The President awarded the Order of Mother to 21 representatives from all regions and Minsk. Among them are the leading engineer-designer of the engineering networks and communications group of the branch "Stolinstroyproject" of the enterprise "Institute Breststroyproject" Tatyana Vabishkevich, a defectologist teacher at the Ozerichinskaya basic school of the Pukhovichi district Dina Filimonova, and an ophthalmologist at the outpatient center of the state institution "432 Order of the Red Star Main Military Clinical Medical Center of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus" Valentina Guryanova.
