Lukashenko has once again convened an off‑site seminar on agriculture
The off-site seminar-meeting with the participation of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will take place on June 17 in the Minsk region, reports BELTA.
The event will be held at one of the dairy farms of the "Ostroshitsky Gorodok" branch of the OJSC "Dzerzhinsky Agro-Industrial Complex".
The head of state and seminar participants will be briefed on the production activities of the OJSC "Dzerzhinsky Agro-Industrial Complex" and the advanced experience in the construction of dairy farms, using the example of the MTC "Selishche-2". The discussion will focus on a comprehensive approach to improving the preservation of cattle and ensuring the growth of its productivity.
Participants of the event will familiarize themselves with the conditions for keeping dairy cattle at the MTC, the technology of feeding and milking cattle, and modern methods of applying liquid organic fertilizers.
Among the participants of the seminar-meeting are the chairmen of the regional executive committees and their first deputies, authorized representatives of the head of state in the regions, and presidential assistants - inspectors for the regions.
An event in a similar format of an off-site seminar on agricultural topics with the participation of the head of state also took place in February of this year. It was organized in the Smolevichi district of the Minsk region at the base of the agricultural enterprise "Shipyany-ASK". Various practical aspects of feeding and keeping cattle during the winter-stall period, preparation of the main types of agricultural machinery for spring field work, new varieties of agricultural crops, and regulations for their cultivation were discussed then.
