Lukashenko: Belarus is paying great attention to strengthening friendship with Ghana.

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, congratulated the President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, and all the residents of this country on Independence Day. This was reported by BELTA in the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"The Republic of Ghana demonstrates steady progress in socio-economic development and enjoys authority on the international stage," the congratulation states.

The head of state emphasized that Belarus pays great attention to strengthening Belarusian-Ghanaian friendship and notes the untapped potential for cooperation in trade and economy, politics, humanitarian issues, and other areas.

"We can offer Ghana successful experience and accumulated competencies in the mechanization of agriculture, food supplies, medical preparations and equipment, fertilizers, and training personnel," the President noted. "I confirm my invitation for you to visit the Republic of Belarus to discuss ways to expand our relations and the possibilities for implementing new projects."

Alexander Lukashenko wished John Dramani Mahama excellent health and success in fulfilling his responsible state mission, and to the people of Ghana - unity and prosperity.
