Lukashenko: the system of training Belarusian athletes allows them to achieve bright victories
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, congratulated the workers and veterans of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism on the 30th anniversary of its establishment. This was reported by BELTA from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"Strengthening the health of the nation, developing high-performance sports and mass physical culture movement are priority areas of state policy, the implementation of which is a primary task of the ministry," the congratulation states.
The head of state noted that the established system of athlete training allows Belarusian athletes to achieve bright victories at major international tournaments and Olympics. "These achievements are the pride of the nation and a testament to the spirit of the Belarusians," the President emphasized.
Special words of gratitude were addressed by Alexander Lukashenko to the veterans - to all those who have tirelessly worked and continue to work for the glory of Belarusian sports, preserving and enhancing its victorious traditions.
The head of state wished the workers and veterans of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism health, peace, and new achievements in the name of the prosperity of the Motherland.
