Lukashenko is counting on establishing systematic and multi‑faceted interaction with Bangladesh
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself personally, congratulated the President of Bangladesh, Mohammed Shahabuddin, and the citizens of that country on Independence Day. This was reported by BELTA in the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"I am convinced that your country will successfully overcome all difficulties and continue sustainable development," emphasized Alexander Lukashenko. "Despite the geographical distance between our states, Belarusian-Bangladeshi ties in various areas are steadily strengthening. Last year, a number of bilateral official meetings were held at the level of national banks and foreign ministries, and visits by business circles took place. I hope that with your support and considering the unrealized potential in such areas as industry, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, science, and technology, the interaction will acquire a comprehensive, systematic, and multifaceted character."
The head of state wished Mohammed Shahabuddin good health and the realization of his plans, and to the people of Bangladesh - happiness and harmony.
