Лукашенко пригласил представителей стран СНГ на конференцию по евразийской безопасности в Минске

Lukashenko invited representatives of the CIS countries to a conference on Eurasian security in Minsk

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, at the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS in a narrow format invited representatives of the CIS countries to the Minsk high-level conference on Eurasian security, reports a BELTA correspondent.

"We expect the active participation of your representatives in the upcoming high-level Minsk conference on Eurasian security at the end of October," the President addressed his CIS colleagues. "Dear heads of state, I would very much ask you to send high-level representatives to this conference."

"We talk a lot about having the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. But at the level of heads of state, when have we gathered? When have we discussed security issues? When could we, looking each other in the eye, say what we think?" - posed the logical questions the Belarusian leader.

Alexander Lukashenko noted that the high-level Minsk conference on Eurasian security could indeed facilitate such an open dialogue.

The III Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security will take place on October 28-29. It is expected to involve political figures, experts, and analysts representing more than 30 countries.
