Lukashenko congratulated Valentina Matvienko on her birthday
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, congratulated the Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia, Valentina Matviyenko, on her birthday. This was reported by BELTA in the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"You have dedicated your entire life to serving the Motherland and addressing the most important issues of its development. Your deep knowledge, vast experience gained in various responsible positions, principled stance, and exceptional dedication to the interests of the Russian Federation make your contribution to strengthening Russian parliamentarism invaluable," the congratulation states.
The head of state expressed confidence that with the active participation of Valentina Matviyenko, cooperation between the legislators of Belarus and Russia will continue to expand, enriched by new projects and initiatives at the intergovernmental and interregional levels.
