Lukashenko congratulated the Prime Minister of Georgia on the successful local government elections
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, congratulated the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, on the successful conduct of elections to local self-government bodies. This was reported by BELTA from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"The confident victory of the candidates of the "Georgian Dream" is a confirmation of their compliance with high standards of responsibility, reliability, and professionalism, as well as evidence of broad support for the course you have taken towards the sovereign development of the country and the consolidation of society," the congratulation states.
The head of state emphasized Belarus's firm intention to deepen friendship and cooperation with Georgia. "I believe that the elected representatives will make a significant contribution to the expansion of Belarusian-Georgian interregional ties and will promote the implementation of new trade, economic, and humanitarian projects," the President noted.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Irakli Kobakhidze excellent health and success in his responsible state activities.
