Lukashenko congratulated the personnel of the honor guard company on its 30th anniversary
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, congratulated the personnel and veterans of the honor guard company of the commandant battalion of the Minsk military commandant's office on the significant date - the 30th anniversary of its formation. This was reported by BELTA in the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"In the shortest time after its creation, the honor guard company became an elite unit of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, service in which is especially honorable, but at the same time also responsible," the congratulation states.
The head of state noted that now the company is an unwavering participant in all official ceremonies, state and significant socio-political events. The unit's drill concerts at parades commemorating Victory Day and Independence Day of Belarus have become traditional and are warmly received and supported by the audience. Thanks to participation in various international events, the unique collective is well known far beyond the country's borders and serves as a visiting card for Belarus and its Armed Forces.
"I am convinced that you will continue to be our pride, an example of hard work, patriotism, loyalty to military duty and oath," emphasized Alexander Lukashenko.
The President wished the personnel and veterans of the honor guard company strong health, happiness, well-being, and new successes in service for the benefit of their native Belarus.
