The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, presented certificates for Belarusian buses and tractors to the Field Marshal and Supreme Commander of the Libyan National Army, Khalifa Belqasim Haftar, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
The certificates were given for 10 "MAZ 206" buses and the same number of "BELARUS 820" tractors.
The head of state also gifted the Libyan guest a basket with various Belarusian food products and sweets. "They cannot be stored for long. Without preservatives (sweets. - Note from BELTA)," he warned.
In response, Khalifa Haftar presented the Belarusian leader with a traditional saber.
"Come to us anytime. We will be glad. But I will come to Libya," said Alexander Lukashenko.
