The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has set a deadline of January 1 for the creation of an effective trade service system across the country, primarily in rural areas. This was stated by the head of state at a meeting on the effectiveness of the trade service system for the population on a national scale, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"There must be a system for trade. We have a systemic state," emphasized the head of state.
He noted that in Belarus there are regions (provinces and the city of Minsk), districts, more than 1400 agro-towns, and large villages. All of them are located along major roads. There are also small hamlets and villages that are considered unpromising. They are inhabited by 7-10 people, mostly elderly, who at one time built the country, the Belarusian leader pointed out.
"Based on this, you must develop a system for servicing people. You have a deadline of January 1," the President set the task. "And God forbid assistants and authorized persons see even one village where 'grandma Dunya' did not receive what she worked for all her life."
Alexander Lukashenko noted that there are good examples of organizing work in this regard in the country. "Do it this way across the country. It's a small amount of money. Use any resources," the President instructed. "Let's review the country from the border of the Grodno region (where we have a general - he will build and do everything) in terms of how people live and how they should live."
He pointed out that overall, not much is needed. It is important to ensure a variety of products. "And prices. The main thing is prices (they must be fair and acceptable. - Note from BELTA)," emphasized the head of state.
