Lukashenko approved the draft agreement on free trade between the EAEU and Indonesia
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, signed decree No. 413 on November 24, approving the draft agreement on free trade between the Eurasian Economic Union and its member states on one side and Indonesia on the other side as the basis for negotiations. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The document aims to simplify mutual trade and develop cooperation between the EAEU and Indonesia as an important trading partner in Southeast Asia. The conclusion of this agreement will provide an additional competitive advantage for Belarusian products as a member state of the EAEU, create conditions for expanding export supplies, and ensure savings on customs duties.
The government is authorized to conduct negotiations on the draft agreement and its signing.
