Lukashenko does not rule out the possibility of transforming the Bellegprom concern into a ministry
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, does not rule out the possibility of transforming the concern "Bellegprom" into a ministry. He stated this while agreeing on Nadezhda Lazarevich for the position of head of the concern, reports a BELTA correspondent.
"In fact, a ministerial position. Here we still need to look at the reform of the management system. Perhaps, create a ministry without all these concerns. If it will be necessary, adding something somewhere, taking something away somewhere. We will look at this separately," the head of state stated.
Alexander Lukashenko noted that both the Presidential Administration and the government inform him that the situation in the concern is not simple. "For various reasons. And, always being distrustful of any information, in this case, I believe that the situation there is not simple," the President said.
"This industry needs to be pulled out. These are people. We need to feed and clothe people. It seems we have fed them. And clothed them. But we must not lose all of this," the head of state instructed.
