The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, called the upcoming year 2026 very important for the country, which cannot be failed. This was stated by the head of state while listening to the report of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus to Russia, Alexander Rogozhnik, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
The ambassador, taking the opportunity, congratulated the President on the New Year and the upcoming Christmas.
Alexander Lukashenko, thanking for the congratulations, emphasized: "A very important year for us is beginning. We must not fail the year 2026. The Lord has been merciful to us: the snow has fallen, the crops are covered (we planted well, and the sprouts are good). Therefore, here we have more or less across the republic. We only have to do our part. So the new year for us is the beginning of new endeavors."
