The quality of Belarusian goods is a matter of national sovereignty. This was stated by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on January 23 at the ceremony of awarding the symbols of the State Quality Mark, reports BELTA correspondent.
"The Year of Quality and the current five-year quality plan is the most relevant development strategy at this historical stage, our response to the challenges of the times, a matter of national sovereignty," emphasized Alexander Lukashenko.
He noted that now is a time of fierce competition in all areas - from production to civil society. And at all levels - from personal professional realization to strengthening the country's position in the global world order.
"Quality is both the final result and the path. It is our main resource alongside hard work, intellect, and discipline, thanks to which we live in an independent country despite unprecedented pressure. Thirty years - peaceful and creative, - stated the President. - Our country will always compete in its production because what we produce (even of good, highest quality) will have to compete with other states that produce exactly the same products."
