Lukashenko: Belarus highly values Tbilisi's efforts to preserve sovereignty
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, congratulated the President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, and all the residents of this country on Independence Day. This was reported by BELTA in the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"For a millennium, the Georgian people, who were at the crossroads of the interests of great empires, fought hard for their statehood, bravely defended the uniqueness of their homeland, and believed in its bright future," the congratulation states.
Minsk highly appreciates Tbilisi's efforts to preserve sovereignty and believes that they will certainly contribute to the flourishing of Georgia, the President noted.
"I am confident that the long-standing history of friendly Belarusian-Georgian relations should become a solid foundation for the renewal of mutually beneficial partnership between the two countries, contributing to the well-being of our peoples, as well as stability and security on the Eurasian continent," the head of state emphasized.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Mikheil Kavelashvili good health, happiness, and inexhaustible energy, and to all Georgians - peace and harmony.
