Lukashenko: Belarus will always be an independent state, despite any global trends

Belarus will always be an independent state, despite any global trends. This was stated by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on January 8 at the ceremony of awarding the "For Spiritual Revival" prizes, special prizes to cultural and artistic figures, and special prizes "Belarusian Sports Olympus" for 2024, reports BELTA correspondent.

"No matter how someone tries to shake us today, nothing will come of it. Nothing will come of it! We will preserve our country. It already belongs to our children and grandchildren, so we must think about their future, and we are thinking," emphasized Alexander Lukashenko.

"We will do everything in the upcoming five-year period so that our country forever forgets the problem of preserving its statehood. Our country will always be a state, despite any currents and trends on the international stage," said the Belarusian leader.
