Лукашенко: Беларусь открыта к дальнейшей реализации потенциала отношений с Румынией

Lukashenko: Belarus is open to further realizing the potential of relations with Romania

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, congratulated the people of Romania on the National Day of this country, as reported by BELTA in the press service of the head of state.

"The Great Union of December 1, 1918, is one of the most significant events in the history of your country, marking the final stage of a long and thorny path to the creation of a unified independent state. The age-old dreams of a free land common to all Romanians, where one can live and develop, have become a reality," the congratulation states.

The head of state noted that, thanks to fruitful work, patriotism, and adherence to strong spiritual and family values, today's Romania has taken a worthy place on the international stage. At the same time, it is very important, as the President emphasized, in the conditions of modern globalization, rapid changes, and uncertainty not to lose one's roots, identity, and traditions.

"Minsk highly appreciates the positive experience of cooperation with Bucharest accumulated through joint efforts. Belarusians are open to further realizing the significant potential of bilateral relations and are convinced that only on the basis of mutual respect and constructive dialogue can a lasting peace and a happy future be built," emphasized Alexander Lukashenko.

The President of Belarus wished the people of Romania prosperity, joy, and harmony.
