Lukashenko: Belarus and Oman have laid a reliable foundation for a multifaceted partnership
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, congratulated the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, and the people of this country on National Day. This was reported by BELTA in the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"This holiday symbolizes the wisdom, unity, and creative power that drive the state forward while remaining true to traditions. Belarus observes the high achievements of the Sultanate with great respect and is ready to contribute to its progress," the congratulation states.
The head of state emphasized the strong connection that exists between Belarus and Oman. "I fondly recall our meetings - in December 2024 in Muscat and in October 2025 in Minsk. The bilateral dialogue has truly become historic and has opened a new chapter in Belarusian-Omani relations," noted the Belarusian leader.
Alexander Lukashenko pointed out that Belarus and Oman have together laid a solid foundation for multifaceted partnership - from increasing trade turnover in the fields of industry, agriculture, food security, pharmaceuticals to creating joint productions. The investment activity has gained a qualitative impulse, and cooperation in the fields of culture, education, and tourism has expanded, he added.
"All the mentioned areas are reflected in the Roadmap for the development of bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Sultanate of Oman, signed in October 2025. I expect active work from both sides to implement this program document under the guidance of the Joint Committee on Cooperation and Investments," the President emphasized.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Haitham bin Tariq Al Said health, inspiration, and new successes in serving the Motherland: "May the Sultanate of Oman continue to prosper under your visionary leadership, and may the friendship between our countries only strengthen."
