The Logo of the Year for Belarusian women has been decided! It was unanimously chosen from more than 100 options.

The Logo of the Year for Belarusian Women has been determined in Belarus, reported BELTA correspondent Olga Shpilevskaya, chairwoman of the Belarusian Union of Women. The logo in high resolution can be downloaded HERE.

The Belarusian Union of Women initiated a competition for the creation of the logo shortly after the theme for the year 2026 was announced by the head of state. 

"We wanted to see how girls and women envision this logo, how they represent it. Each could, based on intuition and feelings, draw their version. At the same time, we did not set any parameters. We believed that the Belarusian women themselves should propose the symbol of the current year," - said Olga Shpilevskaya.

The competition was held among all regional, united, and primary organizations of the Belarusian Union of Women. Participants presented more than 100 different options. In many works, a unified style was seen: many suggested reflecting the image, the face of a woman in the logo. And the interpretations were completely different.

The winner of the competition was the leader of the youth wing of the Volkovysk district organization of the Belarusian Union of Women, Evgeniya Pogranychna. She is a photographer and has previously presented several of her own photo exhibitions. She loves to photograph family and women. 

According to Olga Shpilevskaya, the choice in favor of Evgeniya Pogranychna's work was unanimous. "Everyone agreed that this version has everything: the symbolism of the country - red-green tones, ornament, and the cornflower - the symbol of Belarus and the BUW, and, of course, the image of the Belarusian woman, in which lightness and strength, kindness and beauty are read," - explained the choice of the chairwoman of the Belarusian Union of Women.
